A Little Touch of History is an interactive presentation for students of all grade levels. Barry brings historical artifacts to the classroom for the students to explore and 'touch'. Related stories give the students additional information to help them better connect with the artifacts. The Lincoln Conspirators Execution Photos: A Study in Detail is an adult level visual study of photographs taken by Alexander Gardner on July 7, 1865 at the Lincoln assassination conspirator hangings. The study is an excellent example of early photojournalism when photography was still in its infancy. The history of the assassination of the President, the conspirators' trial and punishment, along with the hidden details from each photo are studied and discussed.
